With CellMat we share a passion for foamed materials’ development. CellMat supports Armacell with testing methodologies and a well-equipped machinery park for small-scale prototyping and product testing. This accelerates our developmental processes and helps us better understand their scientific basis.

Together with the LIST, we are addressing the topic of material improvement, with a special focus on high-performing composite materials and modification of surface properties. From bulk to surface and macroscopic to nanoscopic range, LIST provides the right tools and competencies to support our products’ scientific development.

PTG/e experts support our Intellectual Property Rights protection activities by providing high-quality reviews. Armacell and PTG/e also collaborate on chemistry-related projects in polymer synthesis, process technology and modification to bring our innovation to the next level.

Our multidimensional cooperation with Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST) includes recruitment of graduates from the Chemistry Faculty to our Excellence Centre in Wrocław and Środa Ślaska plant. The university also supports us in testing and optimising products and providing important feedback and know-how.

As Europe’s leading plastics technology research institute, RWTH Aachen University’s Institute for Plastics Processing is our pre-testing centre for new materials and technologies. Our joint projects deliver a better understanding of how the next generation of materials can be developed while using more sustainable manufacturing approaches.

With Sirris, a renowned technology innovation organisation, we are working on multi-faceted projects under EU and regional funding. Their excellent testing facilities, wide range of industrial laboratories, well-equipped machine park and qualified multidisciplinary team significantly extend our development capabilities for semi-structural and structural materials.

Armacell and London South Bank University (LSBU) are collaborating on the development and validation of innovative solutions with a focus on acoustic performance of conventional and eco-friendly materials. Student programs such as research scholarships or the Knowledge Transfer Partnership are deployed to transfer scientific approaches into industrial solutions that deliver acoustic comfort for our customers.

As a founding member of EiiF, we advocate for saving energy and reducing CO₂ emissions by promoting sustainable insulation systems for industrial and technical installations. Armacell has implemented EiiF’s well-established insulation energy auditing programme TIPCHECK – Technical Insulation Performance Check.
