Hydro Insulation
Achieve operational efficiency with hydro-insulated pipes
Building high-quality pipeline constructions
Pipeline construction presents various challenges, including extended project timelines, slow construction processes, inadequate manual pipeline preparation, and dependence on external factors, such as weather conditions and the quality of executor training. These challenges can be further compounded by frequent errors and the need for insulation jacket repairs. Our lZOPOL hydro-insulated solutions effectively address these obstacles. Involving several critical quality assurance steps, factory hydro-insulated pipes deliver reliable insulation performance and meet the strict standards of DIN 30670. They are also easy to install, significantly reducing project timelines and costs, speeding up construction, and contributing to a higher quality of executed work. With a service life of up to 50 years, Armacell's hydro-insulated pipelines ensure a high level of quality, eliminating the need for frequent repairs and enabling long-term performance.

Rely on high quality and durability
Rely on high quality and durability
The insulation you choose must be durable to withstand wear and tear and achieve maximised lifetime performance. As a global leader in insulation materials, we deliver the highest quality and longevity, conducting more than 30,000 quality tests each year and optimising our materials every time you specify and use our solutions. During the construction of hydro-insulated pipelines, our process involves several steps to ensure highest quality. We begin by completely removing surface corrosion through machine shot blasting, guaranteeing surface cleanliness to Sa 2.5 standards. Subsequently, we apply a uniform three-layer insulation system, including primer, adhesive, and polyethylene, along the entire circumference and length of the pipe. Throughout this process, we continuously check the insulation for electrical penetration at 25 kV. We further prepare the pipe ends for welding and assembly of heat-shrink joints, simplifying the installation process.
Lower your total cost of ownership
