ARMWIN AS Technical Calculation Program
ArmWin AS is Armacell’s technical calculation program for determining insulation thicknesses to prevent condensation and minimize energy losses.

In addition, the program enables the user to calculate the heat transfer coefficient, heat flow and temperature changes for pipes, ducts and vessels.

Further calculation options provided are freezing times for pipes and cost and energy saving potential.

With this program you can determine the insulation thickness needed to prevent condensation and minimize energy losses. Further calculation options are
  • heat transfer coefficient
  • heat flow
  • temperature changes in pipes, ducts and vessels
  • cost and energy saving potential
  • freezing time for water pipes

If, for security reasons, your browser does not permit you to start the installation directly, you can also do this manually as follows:

» Windows System (File: Install_ArmWinUK_ENG_windows_1_3_10.exe)
» Linux System (File: Install_ArmWinUK_ENG_unix_1_3_10.sh)
» Mac OS System (File: Install_ArmWinUK_ENG_macos_1_3_10.dmg)

and follow the instructions of the installation routine.

After you have successfully installed ArmWin AS, you can start the program via the automatically created links (e.g. in your Windows start menu).
Should you wish to de-install ArmWin AS, please use the de-installation routine which is to be found in the ArmWin folder.
System requirements
Java Runtime Environment Version 1.5 onwards must be installed. An up-to-date version of the Java Runtime Environment is available for your operating systems as a free download at www.java.com.

If it is not possible to install ArmWin AS on your computer, it may be that no suitable Java Runtime Environment (version 1.5 onwards) is installed. In this case, please consult your system administrator and try again. Please contact us if the problem persists.
