			The most public of public spaces are sports stadia. Aside from their principle use as the sites for sporting activity and endeavor, modern sports stadia are also expected to host visitors in the highest standards of comfort and luxury. Doing so requires extensive mechanical service provision throughout the stadium. Air-conditioning is a standard stadium feature, and not just in executive boxes. A high concentration of drinks kiosks are also present within stadia and these are serviced by long runs of chilled water pipe lines - all of which must be insulated to prevent condensation and the associated problems such as mould growth.
